Dude takes the pin and constantly gets stomped by Braun.
Reigns and Rollins save his ass from getting tabled again. Like wtf.

Spilled my coffee man....:lol:lolI don't think a wrestler has to be tall and jacked, but they do have to project some kind of aura and this poor guy just doesn't.
He's not tough. He's not cool. He doesn't have any kind of intangible factor that gives him an endearing vibe. What does he have that makes one overlook his pasty white skin and Starbucks Barista face?
Zayn is the personification of today's star power vacuum and the competition for that mantle is fierce. Seeing him in the ring with Lesnar tonight was just sad. Talk about a guy who doesn't belong.
Why should I care about him? Why am I watching? How is the company not asking themselves these questions before they invest in "talents" like Sami?
Didn't Strowman have him pinned but chose to get up and beat him more? They've been doing a great job booking Sami Zayn as the lovable ultimate underdog.
He's always willing to prove to his opponents, the authority, the fans, AND to himself that he does belong in the WWE. Sami is even willing to battle guys like Braun Strowman just to do so. Plus, he isn't afraid of him nor is he afraid of taking a beating.
Sami is someone who has the heart of a warrior, but yet he's unfortunately unable to pull off that victory. It's good for Sami since losing some matches make him look even more sympathetic as an underdog. Plus, it helps that he's one of the few talents who are able to recover well from taking losses.
I feel like they've been protecting Sami too. I think tonight is the first time he's been pinned cleanly since September. They've also protected him by having Sami survive the 10 minute match against Strowman, come close multiple times to beating Strowman, have a special face-off with Brock Lesnar as a potential top star, get screwed by the Miz and Maryse out of winning the IC title at Survivor Series instead of taking the clean loss, and he main evented Raw tonight.
I think Sami's future looks fairly bright and promising. They're slowly building him up for his eventual huge moment of winning the big one after losing time and time again. Hopefully, Sami's dreams of finally winning the world title comes true. They just need to continue helping Sami give the fans a reason to invest in him emotionally
By the way, Sami Zayn surviving up until the final 4-6 in the rumble match would be a great way to make him look like a credible challenger. A good way to make him look more important is by taking advantage of the opportunities of playing a part in an important role
