LMAO at comments like this. I'm not much of a poster but I have to say something here before this turns into something it shouldn't.
That finish was atrocious. It looked like Roman came home after a hard day being DA GUY and jumped and hugged his daughter, I genuinely laughed. As for Rollins, well he's (or the opponent) fucked the pedigree up so much the finisher's name is hilariously ironic.
This isn't a Shield bashing thread (nor is this post against Shield fans) so stop being butt hurt marks. Those finishers took the absolute piss.
I know that you likely made this thread to complain about the "Super Shield" but I enjoyed seeing Roman & Seth kick some ass, so that video is a winner in my book.
This kinda shit happens all the time at live events, it's nothing new. Hell, at a live event I went to once, the ENTIRE face side of the roster beat up a heel CM Punk and did multiple finishers on him, lol.
I mean, Reigns does decent to good spears the majority of the time, but yeah Seth is just NOT good at all at doing the pedigree. Thankfully once the HHH feud is over he'll use a different move, one he can do better and more consistently.
Also keep in mind that it is a house show, so they aren't going to go full boar either. So maybe there isn't a need for more devastating looking moves when it makes sense to save that sort of thing for tv. Just a thought.
Reigns cannot hit a spear and Rollins cannot hit a pedigree. They fuck those moves up all the damn time. They ought to stop doing them as neither man knows hot to/is capable of hitting them properly/effectively.
No offence but I seriously don't get this thread, at all. I'd be nice OP if you can elaborate on what you're insinuating with this video to invoke a better discussion. Is it:
a) Just to bring into focus a couple of less than perfect executed spots in a wrestling match, something which happens in some form or fashion at just about every wrestling show?
b) That Reigns and Rollins have been some sort of botch machines in your opinion and that this latest instance is an exemplification of that?
c) That Owens and Jericho are jobbed out to weak looking finishers in a house show?
d) Or is it just that this new semi synchronised Shield finisher isn't that aesthetically pleasing to you?
I don't get the issue here tbh. If I had to deduce something from a single video, I can also post something like:
Holy shit, what a reckless worker was the good ol' D Bryan.
See the absurdity? I'm afraid you're making a mountain out of a mole hill here.
Rollins drops away instead of going through and landing on his knees like HHH usually would, he falls away to put his spin on it, but it only reduces the impact and makes it look like a very lazy signature move. I have no idea how you can butcher such a simple move.
Roman on the other hand is there to see. That was an awful spear, I have seen diva's hit better spears. He literally lunged to Jericho and hugged him to the ground.
To top it off you have the poor set up of hitting the finishers at the same time, it didn't feel organic in the slightest and you could see Rollins stop for Roman to do his roar and then wait for Roman to get close so they could hit their moves together. I don't know if that was intended, but it was clunky, you had KO waiting between Rollins legs while Roman did his roar and ran in for the spear.
They try shit out during house shows, it's the rehearsal ground for what makes it on TV. It's stupid to complain their practices don't look as good as you'd expect since it's not yet a polished performance that's ready for broadcast.

I understand that, but c'mon.. that was a miserable spot which was fucked up all round. Would you be happy to see ANY show that you've paid money to watch end like that?
And I'm saying who honestly gives a crap? The vast majority of wrestling fans won't see this, and those that do should understand that sloppiness is way more likely to pop up at a house show than in a televised event.
If this was on an episode of RAW or a PPV I'd be angry about and giving the two men stick for it. But this? Nah man.
Plus, his original unedited post had nothing about how poorly the moves were executed, he literally just posted the video and said "HEY LOOK SUPER SHIELD!".
Quite funny as it is proven how blind you Shield fangirls really are. It was unintended but worked out great nonetheless as it exposed your biases and blind spots for TS :lol Anyone who isn't drinking TS kool aid would have seen the issues immediately.
As for the name, you said earlier that Rollins and Reigns aren't TS. Super Shield is an apt name for Roman and Rollins reunions, I'm a big fan of the name and hope it sticks :draper2
You're really going to pull them up for their execution of a double finisher spot at a house show? It wasn't televised and it's well known that wrestlers don't go "all out" on house shows for obvious reasons thanks to their intense schedule.
If you're using this as a platform to discuss how Rollins and Reigns perform their finishers in a general sense...
I don't particularly like Rollins' Pedigree but that's more to do with him being 3" shorter than Triple H. I'm betting the Pedigree won't be his finisher post Wrestlemania 33.
Reigns' has an inconsistent track record with spears. His are generally better than Edge's but fall short of Goldberg's, however he's hit some pretty fantastic ones before.
Honestly, again, it's a house show. You're being overly critical and it's no surprise everyone in this thread called you out for an anti-Shield bias.
Oh and as for the post you just made, listen to the audio in that video. The crowd popped for the spot and finish of the match. I'd say they went home happy, no?

Read the comments on facebook and reddit. Are they all anti Shield as well? I left my opinion out of it until I had to point the issues out to Roman and Rollins marks. It's all there to see on the first page.
Fair enough. For the record, them teaming up at all outside of Survivor Series or maybe when forced to do so a few other times is incredibly stupid in kayfabe. Unless it's revealed that Roman is only being so oddly friendly because he is using Seth to even the odds against Owens/Jericho but will stab Rollins in the back later when he's served his purpose, I'm very displeased with the direction those two are heading for. Seth has basically replaced Dean as Roman's Little Helper. If it doesn't involve a heel turn from Roman or at least some kind of segment acknowledging that Roman openly distrusts and even despises Seth but only accepts his help because they have mutual interests, more people will just continue to sour on the angle.
The spear looked like absolute shit and it wasn't Roman's fault at all.
Idk wtf is wrong with Jericho here, he took that spear like a guy who has no fkin clue what he's doing, I'm not a wrestler but I can take that move better than Jericho did there.
It's so obvious but as always people have to shit on Roman because everything is his fault.
And btw @Ace, did you make a thread when AJ injured Corbin at a live event?
Don't be salty dude, stop hating on The Shield, start believing.
It is sort of odd that a guy who gets booed all the time and a guy who's colder now than he's been in a while are supposed to be the big sexy money drawing heroes of Raw.
I watched the video once and knew the issue being brought up was the sloppiness of the finishers. Doesn't take much brain power to figure that one out.
Both of those moves were performed terribly. I'd hope that no one who pays to see a WWE product has to see moves so sloppy, but sometimes it happens regardless due to botches or going easy because of the crazy schedule.
I wish their schedule was less intense so that they could give 100% to every match, even house shows. Unless that was 100% and it was just an unfortunate double fuck up.
