Does it seem normal to you that the US champions defeats the Universal champion and his enforcer clean in an handicap match? Genuine question, just don't consider them as Reigns, Jericho and Owens.

Anyway, that's not gonna happen. Reigns is probably winning by DQ; but lets assume what you said happens for the sake of argument.

He's going to win this for the same reason he was given a win over Owens recently on Raw, in addition to the DQ victory at Roadblock. At worst, it'll be a no contest, but he won't lose. All of these acts are there as a buffer for when he loses at Royal Rumble.

Same old formulaic booking that gives away the result from a mile away.
I get that, but I honestly can't see Reigns just competing in a US title bout at WM33, which is why I think he's going over at the rumble.

If Owen's retains, that automatically means he's going into WM33 as champ, and most likely going against Jericho for the belt which, as logical as a match would be between the two considering their history, I just think it'll be over shadowed by the rumored Lesnar/Goldberg, Strowman/Reigns, HHH/Rollins as those are all bigger matches than Jericho/KO. Just something I took into consideration, so if Reigns does win at the Rumble, him losing the belt on Raw is the only way I see it, because it still protects him. KO gets his rematch at Fastlane, Jericho screws him over, and then you get a solid midcard feud with Jericho/Owens over the US championship.

UC-(C)Reigns vs. Lesnar vs. Goldberg
HHH/Rollins
US Championship-(C)Jericho vs. Kevin Owens
Loser leaves brand-Sami Zayn vs. Strowman or Strowman vs. Samoa Joe (believe it was rumored to happen.)
Womens Championship w/ some Stipulation-(C)Charlotte vs. Bayley

^^That's how i'd book WM33 for the Raw brand. Also think we get a brand vs. brand match with AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

Top 5:

1) AJ Styles
2) Samoa Joe
3) John Cena
4) Roman Reigns
5) Braun Strowman

In this PG era yes. The heels no matter if your the champion or not are always booked weak cheating heels. The faces will always be booked stronger. It's what happened to Seth in 2015 and it's what's happening here. Champs should be booked strong weather face or heel. To me all this means is KO is beating Reigns at the rumble. Assuming Reigns wins this handicap match

And it what I said does happen you know people are gonna be losing their shit on here.

You can't deny that's extremely shitty booking.

If I knew the brand split would mean Reigns/Rollins vs Jeri-KO combinations every week I wouldn't have had any hope.Well, i didn't.

And what the fuck WWE, you book owens like a complete jerk that beats up people, he nearly kills Zayn 500 times in a row, he beats Cena, and when he wins the main title in the brand you start booking him like crap? Why even give him the title? They could've just had HHH turn on Rollins to aid Reigns, that would at least make more sense.

Well, this is the same company that is booking Shaq vs Show at THE BIGGEST FUCKING EVENT OF THE YEAR so I'm disappointed but not surprised.

Reigns will obviously go to the Rumble as US champion and KO will retain, even CM Punk's UFC fight was more unpredictable than that.

As it should, my friend. You just said it, champs shouldn't be booked as pussies, weather they're heel or face.

The fact that WWE does it like this nowadays doesn't mean we should just swallow it, and as useless as it is to come on here and let your rage flow, it's better than just accept it because WWE use to book their wrestlers like shit.

Anyway, I agree that Owens is going over at the Rumble.

Re: Reigns defending the US title in a handicap match on raw

Here's what's gonna happen

If Reigns retains on Monday he is 100% losing at the rumble and most likely going into a program with Strowman at WM.

If he loses the belt on Monday he is 100% winning at the rumble is will either face a returning Balor or rumble winner Strowman at wm for the Universal Title.

KO vs Jericho is happening no matter what a wm it any scenario

Re: Reigns defending the US title in a handicap match on raw

Someone remind me why the US and Universal title scenes had to be combined when the show would be much better with each one presented strongly but separate.

But I still find it amusing when everyone says "ugh Roman never defends his title what a terrible champ", and then Roman starts defending it and suddenly they're like "ugh I don't want see him defend it". Like....well which is it? But the same opponents are getting annoying especially with Jericho's devolved skill.

I'd find it more believable if it were 3-on-1.
