With Reigns finally being brought down to earth, Lesnar should follow suit. Makes sense seeing as Lesnar failed a drug test too but is also a part timer. Superman booking should be a thing of the past. Build several top guys that alternate instead of one that mows through everyone. Would get rid of match predictability.
Maybe they'll just get Cain over Overheem to shut him down then. Hell Lesnar is overrated, I'm sure there's plenty of people on the roster that could take him. Real life fighting has nothing to do with business and Lesnar can't bully to get his way. Don't know who you guys think Lesnar is lol.
Maybe they'll just get Cain or Overheem to calm the "unstoppable beast" down. Can't believe you guys are actually cheering for Lesnar to go unpunished. Ridiculous.
They've made no acknowledgement of his failed test aside from Randy doing a worked shoot comment, they put him on their video game cover and already heavily advertised that fact, in WWE-land, Brock Lesnar did nothing wrong. On top of that, they invested so much into Brock. To simply job him out would be foolish as fuck and only hurting themselves. Brock is hands down the biggest name in the company, by a wide margin too. Roman Reigns is a fucking nobody who drove thousands of fans away and is the lowest drawing top guy in history. They're not pushing Roman Reigns because he makes money, is great at anything, is a good top guy, etc, they are pushing him because they WANT him to be all of those things, but he's not, and they simply wouldn't take no for an answer. The failed Wellness test was all WWE needed to finally pay attention to the writing on the wall when it comes to Roman Reigns and move on.
Nah. They've invested way too much into him from beating the Streak to destroying John Cena to do that.
Not saying it's right, because it isn't, but he ain't getting pushed down the card. He'll beat Orton at Summerslam, and then he'll go away again while this blows over.
He should, why should he get special treatment. The locker room should be pissed if he does. Don't care how "legit" Lesnar is, he's just a man like everyone else.
I doubt it, for Lesnar to have any value you can;t just start jobbing him out steady. Reigns they can job him out a bit then try and rebuild him. Lesnar is only there part-time so once he is jobbed out once or twice his value goes down significantly and will be MUCH harder to recover (if it even could recover with his very part-time schedule)
I don't know, Lesnar/Orton is kind of inconsequential in the big picture. If Lesnar loses, Orton gets another main event push that may or may not work out. If Lesnar wins, it's status quo. I've always wanted to see this match, but I don't think there's any significant stakes.
It would be pretty cool to see Randy take out Brock after all his time away from the ring to give Orton the big push for being one of the top stars for Smackdown
I want Lesnar to lose but I don't want him to lose to Randy. I love Orton but they have built Lesnar up too much for Orton to be the one to beat him. Orton has been VERY beatable the last few years. They need to use Lesnar to put over a new beast. The only two guys who are legit enough are Samoa Joe and Nakamura. Pre-suspension I would have Roman on the list too but he fucked that up. Joe is a monster (in kayfabe.) Nakamura is undefeated, pinned Balor who beat Roman, had a short but successful MMA career and is the de facto number two badass IRL behind Brock due to his MMA and amateur success. I can't think of anyone else honestly. Knowing WWE it will be Strowman lol.
Yeah, Brock does what he wants. You can punish him, and he'll say fuck it, take his ball and go home and work on his farm. Some guys are just to fucking big.
I wouldn't even expect him on Raw next week if Heyman isn't allowed to be with him.
Also because his wellness test was the UFC wasn't one conducted by the WWE, and he won't actually compete when until Summerslam anyway. So, by the time they actually give him one he'll be clean of anything he was taking.
Also take into account that most people don't understand why he failed a test, they just know he did. Yet it was still something from UFC and not WWE, so people most people are likely not going to give a fuck. WWE will probably still praise his UFC victory, and then sweep the whole thing under the rug.
Brock is paid so much I don't think they can afford to "punish" him. They will get their passive aggressive digs in but Brock is not getting buried. Not until his deal is up.
Hope Orton wins, not just for Lesnar getting busted, but because Lesnar has fucking bored me for years. I am dine with boreplex city.
