"Welcome to the Jungle" - Guns and Roses. The age demographic targeted can be anywhere from 16-45 easily. The thirty somethings are the best demographic. That's where the money comes from, parents with kids. The kids could less about the theme music. The teen aged kids will certainly appreciate some G N'R. It doesn't sound dated unless you watch the video, but there will be no reason for them to air the video of the song. If fits the "Raw" theme in a way the other songs just couldn't do. Many people know the song as well.
Some hard rock stuff like they used to use back in the day. This main stream hip hop's greatest hits that they've been using like Flo Rida just isn't cutting it for me. Or something from the EDM scene would suffice as well, lol.
This was the theme song of the Royal Rumble where Punk and The Rock fought. Wouldn't mind hearing it on RAW or SD, although I would probably prefer a rock song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GitYnWdWNI
0:25 onwards (quiet intro they usually seem to like)
0:10 onwards
Although I don't think they would choose a harder track, so they'd end up with this type of sound which is fine anyway..
Plus they used Nickleback for a theme before, "Burn it to the ground"
