Upcoming RAW Schedule (Cities) for Prospective Hijackers

Well what do you think? It doesn't look too good for anyone hoping for a major hijacking on the road to WM for Reigns. I think he will get pushback when they go to the east coast in NJ and Pittsburgh. But after that there are two more shows in "safe" cities before WM.

The only people that are looking forward to fans hijacking RAW are not real wrestling fans.. It doesn't do anything good for the product.

Not really seeing as he is cheered everywhere bar smark cities.

Other than his return and the days after, and the run ins, he really doesn't get huge reactions. The only one that can say they do is Bryan. No questions asked, Regardless of town or circumstance, Bryan always gets the best reaction. And it'll still be that way on the RTWM. The most popular guy will be in a pointless match. That'll look great :bryan2

The only way you could hijack a RAW in a way that would really effect WWE is to not go.

Like, literally, just the entire arena empty.

Because if you buy a ticket it doesn't matter what the fuck you chant you gave them your money.

Honestly, cancelling the network subscriptions in mass is more goddamn effective than booing after sitting your ass down in a $100 seat.

It's the RTWM not a September Raw show.

There are no ''safe'' cities. The fans actually care about the storylines going into the biggest show of the year, they aren't just there to ''enjoy whatever they give you''.

We all know Reigns/Lesnar is going to be shat on and they can't even realistically turn the guy heel until the match itself because Heyman turning on Lesnar before then would make absolutely no sense whatsoever :shrug

The thing is that even if Reigns ends up as a heel champion, so what?

The push will have been a complete failure because the whole purpose of it was so that he could be their new top babyface star and become a draw on the back of defeating Lesnar. (This was a massive assumption on their part anyway given how timid Reigns reactions can be and the fact that there is no evidence of him ''drawing'' at all yet)

Another point to add to all of this is how do you sell this match to your audience when they just have no interest in it at all no matter who is face or heel?

There was not and there won't be an outcry to see this match.

That's what I keep harping, they're trying to make Reigns the new Cena, then they can't make him heel. Same reason why they couldn't ever turn Cena, you can't have a heel as your top guy in this day and age. It's either babyface for nothing, expect another 10-15 years of the top wrestling promotion in the world's Heavyweight Champion getting booed out of the building. Of course Reigns is worse than Cena in every possible aspect of the game, so it'll probably be a lot more like X-Pac heat.

Another Raw Hijacking? I thought the first one was embarrassing enough never to try it again? lol

Like some other people already said, if you really want to make a point, don't go to the shows en masse. Going to shows and doing random chants won't change shit. Didn't WWE already show you they'll just work around it or with it?

I don't understand why this doesn't happen.

Someone actually listed Iowa as a potential place where the crowd would do anything but sit on their hands. I-O-W-A

:maury

Edit: I'm not being an 'ignorant' Brit here, just going off previous Iowa crowds

Orlando, Jersey, and PA will be horrendous for him.

Don't sleep on Orlando, we're the ones who booed HBK and chanted for Bryan when punk got attacked for the Wyatt's.

The other cities will not be easy, this isn't a smark thing, if you think so, I have a bridge to sell you.

It doesn't matter where they are, he's going to get a hard time, specially on PPV where the supposed "smarks" are MUCH louder regardless of city. Last year, none of the cities WWE went to on the road to WM (other than Chicago) were places with smarky history but Batista got shit on everywhere, specially next time they went to PPV in Minneapolis (not exactly a smarky place either). I wonder if fans have a trick up their sleeve and come up with something as catchy as "Bootista" for Reigns, though.

It's funny because last year I hated the hijacking and was happy with the product but this year, I anticipate nothing but the fans' plan to spoil the show.

Probably "Boo-lieve that!" or something.
