Seth Rollins being the great Heel he is could pull it off and it would put what ever Face would defeat him after Rollins has escape a year with cheap victorys and being the best Chicken shit heel of all time.

WWE has a gold mine in Rollins and can be use to put someone else over huge so lets hope they don't blew it.

Nah I don't want another lengthy reign over a year when there's only one world title around. Anywhere from 4-7 months is absolutely fine with me.

No way he's holding the title for more than 3 or 4 months. He's going to become a multi-time transitional champion just like Edge.

Title reigns should be shorter averaging 3-4 months with only one title. That means few transitional one month reigns and half-year + reigns, and most reigns changing each season.

They have quite a few over faces at the moment so a long heel title run could work

Reigns
Bryan
Cena
Orton when he returns

And then the guys who could easily be put into main event title matches.
Ambrose
Ryback
ziggler
Sheamus if he remains a face.

Nah. I'm a Rollins mark, but I don't agree with a year long title reign. Not just in his case, but in anyone's case. IMO, the standard title reign is about 5-6 months, just like it was in the 90s. Perfect amount of time for to have a good title reign without seemingly holding it forever. Even a 5-6 month title reign feels longer than a 5-6 month title reign felt in the 90s and early to mid 2000s. With Raw being 3 hours long, Smackdown, PPV's every month, even a 5-6 month title reign can feel like an eternity. And in today's soceity of short attention spans and having no patience, I just don't see title reigns that are longer than 6 months as a good idea, for any wrestler, not just Rollins.

He won't be getting the title this year, I don't think anyone will be as Reign's will be going on a monster title run Cena style. I even think Rollin's will lose his cash in too at WM 31. WWE will make this poor guy look a fool on the biggest stage so they put over Reign's.

What makes you say 'when' he wins the title? The way this company is going due to his good reactions and overness they'll have him cash in and be squashed by the champ (most likely Reigns) in 1 minute. Because that's what you do to people who are over... right?

We don't need any champions for over a year, even good ones (which he isn't). We have one world title, they need to spread it around, otherwise, it's going to get incredibly old. We had a one year reign with Punk, and by the end of that, even that was starting to get a little old, and he was the best guy on the roster. I sure as hell do not want to see a year long Rollins reign, I won't survive that. Especially coming off an undoubtedly long Reigns reigns. I can't see Roman Reigns losing that title until WELL after WrestleMania 32, and that's bad enough. Don't compound the misery.

And no, it wouldn't put anybody over because Seth isn't taken seriously, he's never beaten a top name on his own, which every credible champion needs to do. He can't even beat Dean Ambrose, the patron saint of jobbers, without 3 to 4 guys jumping him.

I'm sorry but I'm not a fan if year long title runs anymore. 6 month title run at the most for anyone is more than enough for me
