You see.... Canada and America are two different places... America doesn't normally get 2 feet of snow, therefore, American cities and states aren't as well equipped to handle it and American drivers aren't used to driving in it.
I don't think this show was filmed live. Why have a production team, talent, and analysts stand by for a show and risk spending the night there, when you can film those interviews around 6ish and have them at least at a hotel close by to spend the night.
Well i'm in the UK and our winters are relatively mild, i thought northeastern USA had much colder winters than the UK, we are so envious of your cold winters.
It didn't look bad enough to cancel RAW to me, in the UK a few cm's of snow brings everything to a standstill, you guys should be use to snow unlike us.

We've had snow taller than me and shit doesn't get shut down. But, I totally understand how this would be a factor as in BC, it is illegal to not have winter tires on. Not sure about the laws in the states, but I assume that wouldn't be a law.
Right now it's pretty nice weather here in Calgary, but that was kind of funny. We deal with a lot worse than that yearly. A lot worse. Not to mention we get it for longer, and we get ice buildup and snow haze.
Sometimes they seem to get it wrong, the snow was suppose to be a lot more than that. Did they ever end up being hit hard like they was suppose to anywhere up north? Also like someone said they could have been filmed a little earlier, I mean they was shots of people driving which was suppose to be banned at 9pm so, I mean not hard to believe it wasn't live.
this is the case of crying wolf too many times, it happened with sandy and now this historic blizzard. next time people might not heed the warnings even if a big storm is really on the way
OK, say the show went on and the worst case scenario of 4 inches an hour with 50-60MPH wind gusts went down... then what happens to the fans that attended the show. The storm started there around 6ish so by the time the show ended there could've been close to 20 inches of snow on the ground. Is attending the show or having the show go on worth the risk of people wrecking or getting stuck in 3ft snow drifts. The storm apparently wasn't that bad in New Jersey and the weather forecasters are apologizing. But it's always best to predict the worst and hope for the best. The northeast gets 2-3 storms like this a season, so of course it's not going to be like the Dakotas or places in Canada that are far better suited to deal with 3-4+ft of snow in a clip. Pittsburgh hasn't seen a snow storm of that magnitude since 2010.
I always find it funny when Americans have 'snow days' as well, i don't think i ever had a 'snow day' once all throughout elementary and high-school and it's typically -25 on average at least here during the winter lol.
I actually agree with this. Schools around Pittsburgh close when there's 5-6 inches and has 2-hour delays when there's 1-4 inches of snow. When I was in school anything less than a foot = a 2-hour delay and we had maybe 1-2 snow days a year. The worst snow fall I can recollect was the blizzard of 93 when we had 37 inches of snow in a 24 hour period and we missed 2 days of school due to it.
we have had a mild winter in scotland this year but the pics from stanford were pathetic.
compared to canada and scandanavia the uk overreact to snow like fuck even though it happens every year. i know the north east of america have had bad weather and sandy being a prime example but really?
im not pissed though i never ordered the royal rumble and got it for free lol
Wait. Can I get filled in on what happened? Like they didn't have a RAW last night?
