Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
Yes, because it'll show the kids how much the current product sucks and Vince will have no choice but to adapt to that standard. Let everyone go out unscripted and see what happens.

If it means they bring back the classic metal theme song rather than the stupendously awful rap song that they currently use, even for one night only, then I'm all for it.
Give me a RAW without:
- Weekly 6 man tag match match with mid carders that have zero direction.
- A main event that doesn't end in a clusterfuck.
Give me a RAW with:
- A title change, or something significant.
- Maybe a "holy shit" moment, and not a modern day "holy shit" moment where someone says the word bitch, or something, like a legit holy shit moment.
Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
Wouldn't work because of the PG rating and new policies, but even if WWE weren't PG and they didn't have these new policies, creative today wouldn't get it right as one poster above mentioned.
However, I would like to see them use All Together Now/Thorn In Your Eye, the Attitude Era Raw intro, Raw set and Raw Is War logo for this year's Old School Raw. I'm starting to get bored of them using the 93-96 theme, intro & set.
Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
If by AE Raw you mean wrestlers get to wear their street clothes, cut their own promos, cliffhangers, women in thongs ripping each others clothes off, toned down production and exponentially better commentary then: YES!
The reason it worked was because TV was restricted to one big show a night.
What RAW did in the Attitude Era which was not Vince's idea. It was his son, spear headed by Shawn Micheals and Hunter and Mike Tyson's cameo via DX.
It was shock value TV, duplicating what you saw on Howard Stern and Jerry Springer and mashing it into one out of control broadcast. This was a fad era, what wrestling needs is it's 80's era back. Quality performers, gimmicks and a mix of raw realness. HHH has managed to do this with NXT. That's why he is such a great successor to Vince once he sledgehammers him in his bed.
Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
It won't work, it will just be a shallow immitation of the Attitude Era using the same writers as they have now.
Now if they had Wyatt burn Ambrose in some forsaken forest...had Seth Rollins throw Cena over a bridge, have Reigns cutting Rock-like promos...yeah, that would work but we all know that's not gonna happen.
Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
No it would be brutal.. Attitude Era is in the 90's.. They can't bring it back for one night only. It's impossible to bring back an era... Attitude Era is in the past, people gotta move on from it.

Re: would you like a attitude era raw for one night only?
No. I would like every Raw to be cant miss like it was in the AE. The pacing of AE Raws was far superior to today. Every segment was action filled and advanced storylines. Every performer on the show had a real character and was involved in actual storylines. There were far less if any filler matches. You had cliffhangers ending Raw and every single week you couldn't wait to finally see how they follow up on it. And overscripting hadn't completely gone out of control like today. Announcers and wrestlers had a lot more freedom which made it easier for them to get over with the crowd. As a result Raw was much more exciting to watch. Today's shows are a complete snoozefest compared to it. They can keep it pg, that's not the problem. But as far as all all those other aspects I mentioned are concerned, yes, I would definitely want them to return to that far superior formula.
Well I agree it can't be duplicated its over and just wouldn't be the same, though would I want it or course the attitude era was great who wouldn't want it back at least for one night
AE was right place at the right time, imho. As I've learned from watching NXT, what you really need is just simple storylines that are well written and well booked. I feel like one of the reasons the Attitude Era worked so well was the shock value. Honestly, I wouldn't want them to try and top themselves from that.
It wouldn't be the same even if it was tried. AE was great, but it just needs to be left alone as it is. Let today's roster be the focus...
