He was last seen during the episode of RAW that had the Stone Cold podcast. Vince wasn't happy that Stone Cold talked about him on the podcast as it made them look bad for "burying him".
He'll probably be fired after the Rumble. Vince wasn't going to take Austin's criticisms nicely. It's easier to fire Cesaro than actually change his crumedgeon ways and take criticism with an open mind.
He hasn't been seen on live television since Stone Cold's podcast and I knew it would be like that.
His name was buzzing all over social media after that podcast. Look at 95% of Tweets including anything pertaining to Cesaro. Look at every video WWE's youtube channel has that includes Cesaro.
People want him pushed, and it's very obviously voiced throughout every major Social Media channel.
My guess is they want all that to die down before they even think of putting him in front of a live audience. Especially after that match with Kidd when they beat the Matadores and got a decent pop.
"No way we can have a guy get over without my permission!" :vince5
I usually agree with alot of your posts, but I disagree here.
They guy was arguably the 3rd most over singles competitor in the WWE around Wrestlemania last year. And he got there organically, solely through his in-ring prowess. No real singles storylines/feuds, and he did it as technically a heel, with the Real Americans.
May be my bias blinding me, but I honestly believe you give him a face turn and legitimate push, he could get right back to where he was in a few months time.
You can't tell me he wouldn't be able to do anything Ryback and Sheamus have been doing as upper midcard faces. Only difference is the wrestling would be 10x better.
And if you stop with the over scripted nonsense and let him talk naturally and just be himself, He'd be just fine on the mic.
He looked solid here. Confident, and clear spoken. I ain't saying he's the next Rock, but he'd more then good enough considering how much better he is in the ring then 99% of the Main Roster.
HOWEVER
I totally would be all for him and Balor putting on some 10 star matches, no doubt. :draper2
He was at a house show in Sioux Falls this weekend. He tagged with Hornswoggle, Kidd, and Titus against Torito, the two dudes with rags over their faces, and Sin Cara....He is jobbing out in comedy matches now
Damn. Vince really hated that SCSA believed Ceasaro deserves better. Publicly lobbying for a wrestler by a former talent is the kiss of death. After Flair said he wanted to work with Ziggler, he was jobbing for near a year.
Cesaro is still my favorite guy to watch in the ring, but I have given up. He will never do anything in this company. I just wish he'd go somewhere where I could still watch him wrestle.
