Wha an awesome push Zigs is getting. H eeven got live mic time on Smackdown last night, and delivered amazingly.

Zigs/Seth has potential to be a damn great rivalry. And the Intercontinental Title is looking amazing right now.

Props on the WWE for finally getting something right.

Definitely one of the best things about WWE. He's in the perfect spot too. He gets just enough TV time and mic time to not be annoying but be remembered. He puts on consistently good matches, and then sometimes great matches. He's not hogging any spotlight. He doesn't squash or bury anyone but instead is a very believable wrestler (so when he does something like he did at Survivor Series it's all the more believable).

This is the first time I've seen Ziggler actually put forth an incredible promo live. Very strong performances from him lately.

Huge Ziggler fan but he needs to completely lose the show-off character. Completely unassociate himself from that name and gimmick. He's much better, more believable and more popular when he plays the humble underdog. Aside from that, he just needs to be a BIT more selfish in the ring. Sell a tiny bit less and add a few more big moves.

Ziggler should do a little stint in NXT. He'll be put over huge there.

I think they are pushing ziggles in case Reigns fizzles out or gets injured in the Royal Rumble.

Lets see if we start getting dominant wins against jobbers (ala Reigns), to improve his profile running up to the Royal Rumble.

Seriously, I do not think Reigns is a lock to win the rumble at the moment, I think some politicking backstage is going on by HHH - he sees that Roman is no where near ready. And Dean is hurting by the decision to push him into a feud with Wyatt, and his limitations placed on the mic by the WWE.

He has everything going for him at the moment, sole survivor and a brutal ladder match show his resilience, Beating Rollins is just the start to show he can win against the top dogs - I expect that booking to continue into the new year, before the Rumble. And the commentators are hyping him - and given how Vince micro manages them on Raw and PPVs, Vince must be somewhat on board.

So all I am saying, one more fuck up by Reigns, Ziggler could end up main eventing wrestlemania....

Is it just me, or was the reaction to that ladder match between Ziggler and Harper completely forced, resulting in a horrible awkwardness. The reaction from the commentators immediately after the match was incredibly cringe-worthy, them stating things such as "the best ladder match I have ever seen" and even more so "Ziggler's best match ever". I found these statements to be very annoying and detrimental to Ziggler's "push" (if it is a push), in my opinion. I feel that if they are going to push Ziggler they are doing it in the wrong way, or better yet they're doing it badly.

Great news. He's been a top tier talent for a while, and its about time they started presenting him as one. Barring a Bryan return, he should definitely be the one to Headline Mania w/ Brock.
You know, the more I think on this, the more I start to like it. There are 3 big reasons why I think this could work.

1.) It's a fresh match-up. I can't ever recall seeing the two of them go head to head.

2.) Expectations. I mean, Lesnar's broken the Undertaker's streak and tossed the "almighty" Cena around like a rag doll not too long ago. Dolph, by all means, should be manhandled, which leads me to my next point...

3.) They can make a new star, win or lose. If he defeats Lesnar - well, that goes without saying. But even if he loses Ziggler can get over. Have Ziggler give a tremendous effort in an underdog performance that we all know he is capable of, but have him finally succumb to Lesnar's brutality in the eleventh hour and I have no doubt that it'll make him a star in a similar vein to the ending of the Austin-Hart match. Now, I'm not saying that Ziggler will become Austin, obviously, but the method of getting them over will be the same.

It seems from SmackDown that Ziggler is returning to elements of his arrogant cocky show off character. While I can understand it from a logical standpoint, I think it only hurts him as a performer. Dolph Ziggler comes off as an annoying teenager at times when he's Kayfabe sporting that mindset.

Dolph Ziggler as the humble underdog? - $$$
Dolph Ziggler as the cocky show off? - Not main event material. It doesn't connect that well w/ the fans nor should it. It worked better when he was a heel but as a face it really is pretty shit.

People want to get behind Ziggler as the underdog because he's one of the most convincing underdogs in a long while. There should be some quirks and adjustments to make him more than just a humble underdog but that's where his best bet is. I'm not really liking where it seems he's heading character wise.

Can we please get a Ziggler/Flair segment, where Flair mentions he made a mistake in passing down his Figure Four leg-lock to The Miz and that he's giving it to him and if Miz uses it again--he'll suit, lol. Flair raises Ziggler's arm, but Ziggler cuts it short and raises Flair's arm and points to him and they hug. Would be awesome.

The on the RTWM, Ziggler can have a segment with Hogan, Rock, Austin, HBK, Hart and they all give him different advise and support about what it means to be at the top and what it takes to get there. Man that would be a SUPER ROCKET PUSH!!!

Daniel Bryan marks... take your lunchbox and go home!
