Makes it sound as if Anonymous GM will be around longer then just a week. Fuck no.

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

There were reportedly a lot of last-minute changes made to this week's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. At one point John Cena was actually supposed to reveal the new General Manager of Raw but that plan was scrapped. The reason why the Anonymous General Manager was brought back is because WWE can't decide who they want to name as the new GM.

At this point it's uncertain how long the Anonymous General Manager might be used.

Cant we just go back to when there was a day where there was no on screen GM?

Why do we always have to have a GM on TV now days. We don't need it! Give it some rest, just go back to story lines that happen to wrestlers, it seems so easy now to just to insert an authority figure into story lines to create stories! No!

I might be wrong but this has been a regular thing since the Attitude Era. And I blame that era for starting it! while it was good it seems since then we have had to have an authority figure heading the show. Its hard to even believe we never actually had a main focus on that before the Attitude Era!

If they can't decide on who should be GM then just have someone different act as GM each week until they finally decide on one. I don't want to see the Anonymous GM past next week. Fuck. Just seeing it at the end of Raw was too long and enough with the stupid noises. Edge, Jericho or someone needs to smash that bitch to pieces.

Look at the reveal of Hornswoggle as Anonymous GM. No-one in the mind fucking believes it was always him and it was nothing more then to end the stupid angle. Now they bring it back like we've forgotten about it. We're not that dumb and naive.

Pretty embarrassing and stupid to end The Authority in major storyline with Sting debuting and ending it not knowing who the replacement should be. Raw was awful and one of the worst of the year. Coming off Sting debuting and being in a WWE for the 1st time ever, Raw should have been a huge show but it wasn't even decent. Even Sting had appeared, he wouldn't have been able to save how terrible Raw was.

Seeing as how they probably don't want to overexpose Sting....he's probably not going to be the GM. Daniel Bryan should NOT be the GM. He needs to get back off TV and get healthy for his possible in ring return.

There's only 1 person that comes to mind who I think should be the General Manager of Raw. A guy who breathed WWE, bled WWE and sweat it. The Rated R Superstar.....EDGE!

I'd love that, too. I've read he doesn't want a permanent role though as he's happily retired in the mountains or something.

Eric Bischoff would be cool. I wouldn't mind Austin or Foley either, hell bring anyone at this point, even Hornswoggle himself, as long as it's not the fuckin laptop.

What the hell would have been so bad with stone cold..

The next GM has to be a face after 2 years of The Authority. If Cena kayfabe gets to pick who next person is, why would he pick someone like Bischoff, who feuded with Cena during his tenure as Raw GM.

I'd love to see Shane return as GM, but that's dreaming. Imagine the pop he would get and reaction from the crowd when his music were to hit.

I think it's a bit like Arsne Wenger with Arsenal.

I used to love it so much as a child and grew up loving it. It has it's shit moments and it has it's great moments which i'm like "holy shit". It's nowhere near what it needs to be or what it used to be like but life changes and so does rules in what they can and cant do.

It's a love hate relationship. Always will be.

Marks wanting Bischoff back as GM don't even realize its the incredible talent of that era that made him appear to be great GM. He wasn't anything special, you take the guy, put him in John Laurinaitis' place in 2012 and guess what? the end result is you people shitting on him, calling him a bore, begging him to fuck off.

Bischoff as GM in this era with the jobber roster would mean nothing. Just watch his TNA run a few years ago, awful as hell.

Disagree. Bischoff was the perfect heel because he was the enemy for so long, and was willing to embrace that hate. Laurinaitis had no history with the audience and therefore wasn't anywhere near as successful. It was obvious he was just playing a character.
