LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, BROTHER. THE WWE UNIVERSE IS PROUD TO SUPPORT SUSAN G KOMEN, DUDE. ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUSAN G KOMEN MOMENTS, BROTHER, WAS WHEN SHE WON THE FIRST EVER ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL IN THE SILVERDOME, DUDE. SO WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE WWE, THE SUSAN G KOMEN THING AND THE ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL RUNS WILD ON YOU, DUDE!
Expect more of this. I assume when all is said and done in Cena's career and they induct him in to the Hall of Fame, they will be singing his praises as the greatest of all time. All the true fans know how much BS that is.
I have no idea why the WWE are paying a 60 year old guy who retired in TNA a fortune to come out and cut pishy promos every now and again. The promo at Wrestlemania with Rock and Austin was gold but that should have been his only involvement.
Hogan basically would have no exposure otherwise if it wasn't for these promos. He doesn't have the strength to put on a decent match in the ring, this is all that is left. Otherwise, he'd slide even further into irrelevance.
Hogan has been irrelevant to wrestling since the decline of TNA. His recent stint with the WWE reeks of Vince's sentimentality and that's about it.
The irrelevancy basically means that his statements while annoying and untrue don't have any impact on the fan's perception. The younger generation already believes Cena to be the greatest of all time and I don't see how changing that helps the product anyways.

WWE probably has very little stuff for Hogan to say, so this is their opportunity to have him talk highly of Cena...whether it's to get more people to respect Cena or not. They just want to promote him as one of the greatest.
He's called the promo's about breast cancer "basically saying nothing" or something like that. I think he's there to see if he might have another match.
And WWE knows people will like Hulk less for these promo's, that's why they're humiliating him with them. Still, he still talks better and is a more believable-sized Champion than half of the roster.
Watching Hogan in these terrible segments not only shits on the fans, but on Hogan himself, it makes the WWE look bad, starts to chip away at legacy, and is embarrassing for all of wrestling.
I find it disgusting how Hogan is letting himself being used like this, he must have gotten a huge bag of money when he signed that legend contract.
My mother is fighting breast cancer at the moment and even she doesnt give a flying fuck about all that komen bullshit, we all know WWE is doing this to just get a rise in their merch sale, almost all of the donations the Komen organization receives is going to their own greedy hands and i believe just 23% goes to actual research. I really dont understand why WWE is still doing business with that komen company as they are as corrupt as they can be, i hope it was just that they signed like a 2 year contract or something, because if they continue with them next year, Vince is officially a senile old man.
That last pic is.....interesting to say the least. But I think his hand was going from side to side on her upper thigh and not up "there".
Plus, it was the back of his hand(if you look closely).
Anything to make Hogan look bad is a-ok in your book apparently.
And as far as the tragic situation involving his son's friend goes, perhaps if his friend would've worn his seat belt, what happened wouldn't have happened. :side:
Everyone can agree with that, but the problem is they only ever seem to consistently do it for Cena. The guy is a 15-time World Champion and has the crowd giving him mixed reactions almost every week. Yet the WWE feels the need to constantly remind us how great they think he is by having legends like Hogan and Flair put over how amazing Cena is, while completely ignoring what we actually think of him.
Oh stop acting like Hulk Hogan has just started disgracing himself and that WWE is making him whore himself out. Hogan's been willing for whore himself out for 20 years. Anyone remember pastamania, brother? He'll also be in any 2 bit commercial that will pay him.
Hogan is old and annoying now but to deny his contribution back in the day is really silly. Without Hogan wrestling we know today would not be the same.
Stars like Hogan, Rock and Austin are one of a kind. It's beyond me how someone can not respect this guy.
But yes. His last 10 years or so he's been nothing but a bore.
Hogan has been vocal about his disdain for how they're using him. He wants one more match, preferably with Austin. I feel bad watching him make himself look like a tool every week with this spineless pandering.
Did I deny his contribution to the industry at all with that post?
He's just a politicking POS that practically destroyed two companies, and is still a total mark for himself today. He never grew up like the Warrior did near the end, or HHH seems to have now.
He's also one of the most overrated wrestlers to ever do it. Why should I respect him because he was over?
Lol at you people. Hogan knows what he is doing is crap, but he wants the paycheque. You're telling me you wouldn't take a 7 figure contract to cut 5 minute promos on the WWE network? If the answer is no you are either really stupid or a liar.
I remember Vincent Russo who was a booker for WWE during the attitude era and also a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion calling Hogan a Politician. I never knew Hogan ran for office, I cannot find any info of that on the internet either, could one of Wrestling Forum's bright young men tell me more about this? I always felt that Hogan could captivate voters with his charisma but I am not too sure about his political knowledge. He does have the charisma required though, in a lot of ways Hogan reminds me of Bush J.R
I doubt Hogan cares. His WWE character has always included a high degree of pandering, so this Cena and cancer stuff is just an extension since he is way way past his physical prime.
Come on now, Hogan has always been down to use his personality to sale anything, pasta, merch, rent a center, currently crazy taxi mobile game and you could go on and on, he has always done this. Is it just the young ones that forgot this. This is not new, new to do it for the WWE, but he has been doing this for companies far less valued for a long time.
I love Hogan, but I believe he would sale poop smelling cologne if the money was right and I say why not, he's done his work so he can have the opportunity to promote stuff and get paid for it now.
