This, except for the knock on Reigns, who has really grown on me.
Ziggler is perfectly suited to be a jobber to the stars. He bumps like a motherfucker and has gotten some solid crowd support, but that's really as far as it goes.
Except for the fact that Ziggler is actually very good in the ring, and anyone who says otherwise is absolutely delusional. He's been a midcarder for all of his career (when he wasn't a jobber), and he has still managed to pull off some great matches, showing great versatility in terms of move execution and, when given the time to actually have meaningful match, good in ring psychology. And yes, I know most people on here deny that, and claim that all he does is throw himself around the ring, or that he's a spot monkey, but such people are merely kidding themselves.
Reigns sucks in the ring, whereas Ziggler is very good in the ring. Reigns sucks on the mic, whereas Ziggler may not be the best on the mic, on average, but is ultimately capable of delivering quality promos. And they both seem to be charismatic. So in no way is Reigns better than Ziggler.
I'd love to see Ziggler in the Main Event. He's really fun to watch, and, for many, really easy to get behind. He'd produce some memorable matches, and, I think he could hang with the top guys. I thought he showed that well during his feud with Cena.
