Has Batista become the biggest 'heel' in the WWE right now?

Won an undeserving royal rumble and taking away a spot for someone like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk. And could be one of the factors as to why Punk has left the WWE.

The backlash Batista is going to get is insane. He's come in as a babyface and in a matter of 2 weeks, he's coming off as one of the company's top heel. Interesting.

I'm taking way too much joy in seeing all of this blow up in WWE's face .

That's what they get for doing that bullshit ass contract for Batista.

Why in the FUCK would you promise a man all of that? He's not the damn Rock.
And even then, I wouldn't excuse that bullshit for that man either.

I hope this Batista backlash and situation gets shittier and shittier as time goes on for Vince.

That's the karma WWE deserves for shitting on hard working and loyal employees for undeserving old superstars who already had their time.

You reap what you sow WWE.

Deal With It.

No shit. This could make Cena accepted by the male demographic. At least he puts in his time and works a regular schedule (hell, more than an regular one). With Batista being public enemy #1 and being the absolute personification of what is wrong in the wwe and pro-wrestling, all of a sudden Cena doesn't look so bad.

Batista is absolutely the biggest heel they have right now. They didn't want him to be, they planned on him being welcomed back as the biggest baby face. It backfired tremendously on them (see the Royal Rumble), so what they should do now is run with it, not run against it like it seems they may do.

You are absolutely right, this would be best, I think Batista would have been better off returning in the summer because any guy was going to receieve backlash from Bryan's spot hence why Mysterio got booed. Corporate heel Batista with the suit and sunglasses, standing with HHH, Kane, and Steph would be best. I kind of wish Del Rio could do this, cause he has a nice look for a heel corporate champ.

If Batista is heel, then Orton must be face??

Hopefully the Punk thing is bullshit, over-blown, or is a work to get Punk back into the Anti-Authority & WWE gimmick.

But I think they might have to transition Orton into a face-role or add a babyface into the mix so Batista & Orton can both be heels.

Gotta agree with this. It's not heel heat when you're trying to be a face, but the fans boo you out of the building because they don't want you there. It works for Cena because he is such a goof and it's become part of his gimmick, but it might not work so well for Batista.

I can see why Batista want's to come back. I doubt he wanted him quitting in a wheelchair to be his last appearance. But why did he have to come back right in time for Road to Wrestlemania :'( he should of came back night after Wrestlemania so people can accept him back. They fucked him up by bringing him back and 6 days later winning the rumble and main eventing Wrestlemania. ew!

He has some nerve demanding a Rumble win and winning the title at Mania to return. Makes you appreciate Cena, his character may be a pain in the ass, but he's a good guy who works hard for the company and loves the industry.

They aren't gonna make him a heel just because they want him to main event against orton. New Orleans is gonna boo the shit out of both of them. The crowd popped when Brock came out challenging them both. That's how bad people were pissed about the rumble that they cheered Brock over Batista. I'm a Brock mark for years now. Followed him in ufc and still love him in wwe.

Cena has been putting guys over and busting his ass off. He lost clean to Bryan and Orton just last year. He won't be near the main event of Wrestlemania.
It becomes hard to hate him when he's just an upper-midcard guy.

Batista on the other hand...

He's put over Rey Mysterio, Orton, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, he wanted to work with Christian and put him over being one of his supporters that Christian should be a main eventer. He's put over MVP, Finlay, and Shelton Benjamin, hell Chavo Guerrero looked good against him in 2008. Don't act like he never puts anyone over.

They HAVE to turn him heel now.

The difference with when the Cena heat when that was at its peak is that WWE knew Cena still had a massive fanbase and that would always be the case being the top guy.

I am pretty sure even casuals dont care about Batista. Either they didnt watch 5 years ago or no one really liked him that much anyway. I have family members who watch WWE too and I can gauge the casual fanbase on who they are cheering for and they hated Batista winning the rumble and wanted Bryan to be in it.
