Reigns has him beat pretty soundly in those categories.
Fair enough' not everyone gets or "feels" Ryback, and I'm not trying to make this Ryback vs Reigns (though I could really, really go on why Ryback is ahead of him).

I'm just being honest about a serious issue Reigns will have to overcome. Not his size in and off itself. But the fact that there are guys as big or bigger and maybe even better looking who are definitely better talkers and more charismatic than him. I don't see how Reigns will beat that yet. Especially not with his billing as a powerhouse. Like I said, he'll look small and not at all like he's billed standing next to Ryback. And hell, even though Cena is two inches shorter and thirty inches lighter, he looks bigger than Reigns. Built like a bus, that guy is.

With Cena, they were careful. They never billed him as a big guy. Even though he's strong as a bull and they almost always say something about it, they never make him out to be a pure powerhouse wrestler like Batista or Ryback or whoever. I mean, he's been called a powerhouse, but it never became part of his gimmick or defined his style or moveset. He's more like an all-purpose type guy.

Re: Can someone tell me the hype behind Reigns?

He just has that it factor about him. I would still rate Ambrose miles ahead him and even Rollins a couple steps above him but the thing about those two is we know they dont have the look to be "the guy" Reigns on the other hand has the look, the personality and comes across as very well spoken and a guy that would fit as the next face of the wwe from the Interviews ive seen. And on top of that he,s very entertaining. Reminds me abit of Batista. Batista was never a great speaker although he was good. He was never anything special in the ring although he was good. Yet when you looked at him you saw he just had that it factor about him and the same goes for Reigns.

His arms are also smaller than Sheamus's. But I do think he has a great look and IMO the best looking guy on the roster.
I actually think Dean's arms are bigger or, at least, the same size as Roman's, and the only thing making Roman bigger than Dean is his shoulder width.

Batista was disproportionate, he had too muscle mass and carrying so much weight, that's why he was horribly slow and mediocre.

Reigns is an athletic monster, much more a kind of Goldberg/Lesnar powerhouse.

Reigns is so far away from Goldberg who is so far away from Lesnar that this really makes no sense. A better comparison for Reigns would be Tyler Reks. Only because I can't remember many "powerhouse but not really types".

Oh wait, Triple H, maybe. Much more apt than frickin Lesnar and Goldberg at least. Reigns is nothing like either of them.

Also, don't throw around words like muscle mass and weight if you're talking about mobility. Because it certainly isn't an issue for a lot of wrestlers. That's a very thin blanket statement you tried to get over right there.

He's a solid worker, he has good mic skills, and he has a good look. Plus, being a bad-ass and having the best spears in recent memory helps.

Roman Reigns type of body is really similar to Goldberg and Lesnar in 2002, and if you compare him right now with Tyler Reks he's actually more impressive and more definite.

An athletic body and defined as Goldberg is really different one as Batista, that is really disproporcional ... But in reality the two may be look big and intimidating.

There actually are not much difference.

It really has stunned me that Ambrose and reigns got the push from the shield. Even though the shield help 3 nxt members get to WWE, rollins has really gotten the short end of stick. By far the most superstar ready.

Re: Can someone tell me the hype behind Reigns?

Reigns doesn't seem to have the same athleticism as either Goldberg or Lesnar and doesn't wrestle or move anything like either guy.
