Re: Your replacements for Cole, JBL, and King?

JR, Joey Styles and Paul Heyman should be the only commentators in the company.

Cole should do backstage interviews like he used to.

King should be dead or in prison.

Gus Johnson.

Don't care if he doesn't know a lick about wrestling. that guy has JR-like ability to make anything sound exciting.

Rule of thumb:

If I like someone, and they're becoming boring, it's creative's fault.

If I don't like someone, and they're becoming boring, it's because they suck.

JBL is shit because JBL is shit. No one tells him to say the same shit over and over again, he does it for his own autistic amusement.

You're honestly telling me that the drop in quality of JBL's commentary when he first came back vs. the one now, even if he regressed, is natural? Everybody knows the commentators get fed shit by Vince. Even in this thread its been mentioned that new commentators will mean fuck all unless Vince gets out their ears.

Anyone but them should do the trick, but if I had to choose, off the top of my head it would be Josh Matthews and William Regal.

Re: Your replacements for Cole, JBL, and King?

thing about the current 3 is they don't have to be terrible, Cole is pretty decent, JBL can be excellent as he showed in his first run and Lawler was fantastic as a heel colour guy in the 90s.

If I had to change all three out though I'd have JR, Striker and Heyman

Re: Your replacements for Cole, JBL, and King?

Cole is amazing on the microphone. Of course his commentary is restricted and controlled, but it's extremely articulate and well composed when he does interviews. Watch some of his interviews in old WWE videos or broadcasts.

Cole, Alex Riley, CM Punk. Dream team.
