Interactive cutscenes? You mean quicktime events well most if not all action/adventure nowadays have those and in my opinion they're a good thing. It helps keep the player engaged during the cinematics because you get a feeling that anything could happen. What do you mean they're not "real games"? Please elaborate on that. Also whether you like post-apocalyptic/zombie games or not that's your opinion but the fact is that is the setting of the game and not the actual focus. The focus of the game is on the main characters and how they're developed throughout the game as well as their relationship with one another and how it pertains to the overall plot. As far as the clickers/zombies/infected, the sections with those are so few and far in between and there are plenty of human characters within the game its just that everyone is pretty much out for themselves and its dog eat dog world that they have to survive in...literally. In this game we're not going around and mindlessly shooting zombies if that's what you think. If it wasn't for the amazing writing of these characters and the story in general then yeah it would be a run of the mill generic first person shooter ala Resident Evil but its much deeper than that.

Substantial gameplay? Let's see there are shooting galleries which you can either avoid by tactically taking out your enemies using stealth or you can go in guns blazing which I wouldn't recommend considering how scares ammo is a lot of the time. There are also puzzles to figure out in order to get you on the right path. There are certain underwater sections as well. You can explore areas for supplies/gear or you can find little notes and clues which help explain what happened in the area. You can play as different characters in certain sections of the game. There are dark sections with clickers which require you to use Joels listening skills in order to take them out with shivs as well as regular human enemies. There are those quicktime events which really don't occur all that often and are pretty exciting. There are mini platforming sections in which you and your partner work together to find the correct path. There are interactive environments in which you can open drawers and cabinets to find items. Horseriding sections which are really fun by the way. The few boss fights are actually fun and challenging.
Soooo yeah...gameplay sucks
As for the comparison to Uncharted they really aren't that similar. Of course they implemented certain mechanics but this game is about SURVIVAL Uncharted was about ACTION & ADVENTURE. There's a big difference already and honestly that much to compare simply because of how different the games are...the themes, the characters, the setting, the writing, the gameplay(there was fuckton of platforming in Uncharted and shit load of ammo)...But of course because they're from the same studio so that instantly means they're exactly the same
But seriously you should've given this more of a chance but yeah whatever...
oh btw what is a "real game"?
