It's not just the right and wrong (Though I agree with you)
It's also when they start belittling someone for asking a question they feel they could have looked up on the IRS website or somewhere else. I understand when they catch a non-professional asking a question and get mad (As the site is just supposed to be for CPAs and other preparers not taxpayers.) Or if a question has been answered already several times, I get the venom.
But the purpose to answer questions. If you don't want to answer, then don't, but don't belittle someone
It's not like I ask or answer alot of questions myself, but when I go to and see the fighting, it's dumb
Maybe because I am in my mid 40s(I started doing taxes as a side thing 13 years ago, but have been a CPA for 20 years and taxes is my full time thing the last 5 years), I am less tolerant of these things as I was in my late 20s when the internet first became popular.
