Noyk: Why should anyone give a fuck if it's good for business.

Why should anyone care what other peoples incentives for watching are?

You still haven't addressed this yet

Are you even reading my replies?

If more people watch the show for Rock, more people will also watch Ziggler, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, etc; whoever it may be perform.
More people watch them, they eventually get more fans.
They get more fans, they start getting more over and their popularity increases.
Their popularity increases, they start getting pushed.

Yeah, why would anyone care that their favorite wrestlers, who probably are underdogs, are getting more popularity and fans and eventually a push.

While watching him, even though he was not there for long, I also watched Muhammad Hassan & Daivari while at it. Also watched Carlito, Chris Masters, and a whole bunch of new feuds that I was interested in, and I liked what I was watching. And I kept watching, and here I am still watching almost 10 years later, even though I did stop watching for a bit again one time, but was short.

There's other people like this around the world, I'm not the only one. Hell, I've seen a lot of people posting everywhere (not just in this forum) their "started watching again" stories, and they are similar to this. They started watching again for a certain wrestler, and kept watching because of other wrestlers.
Mines is similar i stopped watching full time in about 2009 & i casually watched until Rock came back & when he did i started back watching full time again & that's when Punk did his shoot & he's been one of the only things keeping me watching when Rock leaves.

That's the thing Rock reels them in it's up to the superstars & booking to keep them interested but that's impossible when they just feed you to Cena or Triple H

I don't know if you've watched Raw lately, but its really not that great of a product. Tuning in to specifically see someone, then not see them, and sit through 3 hours of everything else.... Its likely to turn the casual fan off.

All that I've deciphered from this thread is that NoyK couldn't resist another crack at rants. This could have easily been posted in the wrestling sections.

Don't use my thread as a sign of hypocrisy because Cal moved it

And that's in like two months. Definitely not a long term thing.
People watching on TV is not going to get them pushed. Quite frankly no one should care about the ratings. And also lol Cena is taking the title from the Rock. Because WWE have to always push Cena.

Personal opinion. In mine, it's not a 5-star show, but definitely not as bad as most people claim it is. I enjoy it.

Here's an example of what I was trying to get at. And there's a whole lot of other people like this worldwide.

You think about that again and a little more carefully.

Live attendances. Signs. Chants. Merchandise sales.

So the average casual fan are sitting through 3 hours of bullshit just to see Dwayne cut a wack promo? Seriously doubt it. Hate to bring RATINGZZZ!!!1!!! into the argument, but yeah, it reflects it.

Not from my experience. I got a couple of mates to tune in for an episode of Raw with the Rock after he won the title who has not watched for years and they said they would not watch again as it was too long, too many ad breaks and Rock is not the same guy. He may get a few people tuning in but while Raw is three hours and has too many ads and recap as well as filler I doubt many people will return to watch with or without the Rock
