I wouldn't call it 'Hate' as such.
On my part its more of an annoyance, Yes its great that's he's come back to wrestle a few more matches, and win the belt after 10 years absense. Its a real heroes story. BUT why do it when CM Punk is the champion? Why now?

I think a few people on here will agree, it feels like they've spoilt one of the best, if not THE best title reign in the last 10 years, just to give the belt to the rock. Only for him to lose it in a months time. Which is when people start getting annoyed.

If would have come back and ended Cena's reign in 2010, then people would have loved it.

Its just come at the complete wrong time.

I feel ya, nicely put. I think if they have a plan to have Cena go over just to get his win? Then this didn't need the belt on the line, and a up and comer could have gone over huge at mania against Punk. Rock could have faced Cena in a re match, or Brock. I hope they're planning what I think they're planning.
