Re: Froot: Lovable Character or Defecating Home Invader?
Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening on Spinach coloured Gameboy, I would still play this. This game would give me major nostalgia with a hint of euphoria. When I was a kid I'd play this soooo much with headphones on that the game music would still be playing in my ears when I'd go to sleep and to be honest it tortured me. I stopped playing with headphones after that. I remember I couldn't find this chicken in the game and I was stuck. That very night, I had a dream that I was in the game world and that I finally found the chicken. Next day, woke up, played, found it. Good times, good times.

Don't recall calling it "dumb", but I do recall calling it excruciatingly boring.
My ideal picture of a video game doesn't appear as fighting the same monotonous, 2-5 min battles, with the only possible motivation to continue being fictional bragging rights that I'll never show off.
