So if there's a space in the roster (which it seemed like there would be, only for them to enter pergatory following Kane), all young and talented guys shouldn't be in it?
I think that someone who plays their character perfectly and has been in developmental for over half a decade should get the opportunity before someone who has zero talent and just a decent gimmick. Especially when the gimmick has no place on the main roster and changes to (seemingly, so far anyway) become a part of 'the Authority'.
Kassius thought it wise to laze off and lose shape when he was given an opportunity late in his life - it's no one's fault but his own. He also showed hardly a moment of goodness in his time down in NXT with his only good matches coming from Harper and Regal (if you're not getting a good match with Regal, then there's a major problem).
I know, and I agree.
Of Course they'd accept Bray for his weight because they found a gimmick that suits his body (and he's lucky for it) - a gimmick that allowed him to deliver some decent promos in NXT (and main reason why he was pushed up to the main roster with the Rowan/Harper doing his wrestling work). Kassius just looked like any other mildly out-of-shape, bland individual who had stepped into wrestling the day prior.
I do not see how his size comes in to play with his gimmick. It just makes WWE look hypocritical releasing a guy because he had 5lbs too much fat but super-pushing a guy who looks legitimately obese.
And so far he hasn't done any cool power moves or anything to look like a "big strong guy", he just looks plain unfit.
Obviously the second reason why his matches are horrible. First is because he is horrible.
If you're honestly a Kassius fan
Nah, don't care about him.
