About as obsessed as you are with following me around and holding grudges from days ago threads and your insistence that everyone who carries a gun is a redneck.

There is a reason why some (not all) combat Soldiers to this day carry sidearms into battle.
If you say so, I guess you're trained. I just don't want to hear on the news about some guy in Florida who got gunned down thinking he was John McLain.

An AR is actually not that great indoors, and the long barrel length makes it a bitch to swivel around a corner or any type of barrier. A pistol, a concealed one, at that, means that the element of surprise is its biggest advantage. In a one on one situation, a trained guy with a rifle and a trained guy with a handgun, yeah, you're going to have to be pretty proficient. But when a guy walks in and just starts firing at random - that's not one on one. You don't just pull out your gun and challenge him to a duel. You take cover and assess the situation, unholster your firearm, and go from there.

I don't live in Florida, by the way. So if that John McClain reference was towards me, you'll have no worry.

On that note, I am moderately excited for the utter tripe that will be the new Die Hard flick. \m/.

Looking forward to it as well.

I actually enjoyed the last Die Hard movie, as ridiculous as it was

I'm of the mind that a movie doesn't have to be 'good' to be awesome. Kinda like wrestling.
