Sega have released some awful consoles (Mega cd/32x) etc. but the Dreamcast wasn't one of them. It actually sold really well in Japan.

Poor marketing and as I mentioned before, being ahead of it's time, didn't help it's cause.

The same reason Nintendo almost did around the same time. Playstation was killing EVERYONE in the late 90s. It had to do with the game library, IIRC.

You know what I really miss is the Genesis. Did you have the Sega Channel back in the day?

If you like skies of arcadia you should check out, the new sonic and sega all stars racing game. It actually has levels from the game. As well as other classic sega games.

The genesis often gets overlooked for rpg's in favour of the snes but it had it's fair share of great ones. Phantasy star and landstalker, I thought were great too.

I don't even remember if we had the snes tbh. We might have. I kind of have no attention span at all so I only really ever play shit like Tetris or turn-based RPGs, and even then it's only one good binge every few months at most. Any other sort of game just ends up pissing me off when I die and have to start over because I don't like having to do the same thing twice over. Not enough shiny things, or something. Although when I was much younger, before I smoked myself retarded, my attention span was a little better. Like 5 whole minutes even, sometimes. Sonic forever. Then again, I also used to play concert piano, no joke. Fucking weed.

Trying to remember the name of this one RPG for the Genesis I used to LOVE whenever it came up on the Sega Channel but apparently it was too many years ago. It'll come to me. Maybe.

I think the sonic the hedgehog level select codes are etched in stone in my brain until the day that I die.

I could end up with alzheimers where I can't even remember my own mothers name, but I'll still remember that in sonic 2, you need to go into options/sound test play sounds 19,65,09,17 go back toi title screen hit a and start together.

I used to always duplicate the rings and make myself become Super Sonic. Great times.
