I remember calling in to the radio to request a song then sitting next to the button for two hours waiting for the dude to play it so I could record it, then calling back to yell at him for blowing me off. HARDCORE 15-YEAR-OLD-GIRL RAGE.
also LOL at the tape unwinding himself comment because it happened to me many times.
What I also realized is that most songs lost it's magic since it became possible to hear it whenever I want it on YouTube and other sites.
I realized it also with wrestling, when you have the possibility to watch it 24/7 on internet you barely gave a fuck when it's finally Monday and Raw starts. 15 years ago I watched Raw and Nitro and then you waited excited for days for a new episode without a possibility to shorten the time. Internet helped you find out more about things you love but it also killed the love for those things in some way.
We became just like the rich kids who can buy every toy in the world what led to us being bored because there is nothing special about anymore
