Also, dumb thread asking who remembers Gangrel. Well, considering most people here grew up during the Attitude Era, I am guessing most will remember him. It's also like the 10th fucking thread asking who remembers him. HE DOES PORN, WE GET IT.
He was garbage. The only good thing about him was his entrance, IMO
Any thread that starts with "Am I the only one?" is automatically horseshit by default.
I would have to considering one of the BEST tag team matches in US History was vs Midnight Express. Fulton & Rogers demand some appreciation themselves.
All of the forgotten teams do: Barry Windham & Brian Pillman, The Dream Team, Strike Force, The Heavenly Bodies, The Thrillseekers, Furnas & Lafon, Killer Bees, The Islanders, The Bodydonnas, Russian Team, & an obscure pick of New Breed aka the team from the future of 2002.
The Young Stallions & Tekno Team 2000 probably won't get any love.
Wow good call. the Fantastics have always been underrated. Their match they had in 1990 with the Bulldogs in Japan is also worth checking out.
99% of the time, those 'am I the only one' threads are by some fucking shitbag who wasn't even alive at the time the wrestler was active and just wants to sound like they have a boatload of wrestling knowledge, or, it's someone who thinks that a guy like Gangrel will somehow be forgotten by people who grew up watching it and obviously wont forget an ugly fucker pretending to be a vampire.
DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER A POPULAR WRESTLER????
Detroit Red Wings/Dallas Cowboys MARKS FOR ROWDY RODDY PIPER Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions. You ever notice Hulk Hogan’s got no hair on his chest? Only friend he’s got that DOES is Cyndi Lauper.
@blarg - Much like some more from Furnas & Lafon, I need to scope out some more obscure Puro matches from these teams.
I think the match is on Youtube somewhere, shouldn't be too hard to find.
Furnas & Lafon had a GREAT match with Sabu and RVD in ECW, forget the date of that though. ECW is definitely the team's highlight period (think 777 mentioned their time there when I brought them up yesterday).
I'd have to relive that one too. I've mostly been tackling Furnas & Lafon's work in their WWF tenure. Even for the matches that didn't get proper time they still gave it their best foot forward to kill it. Only major ECW moment I recall from them was assisting RVD to take out Tommy Dreamer during an event in 1997. During the height of the WWF vs ECW stuff. Buried Dreamer under the WWF flag yet again. Crowd wanted their blood.
Ah man, I remember the ECW/WWE pseudo war like it was yesterday. The Cornette/King run ins
I think that's a forgotten point in history, for the time it lasted, it was one of the edgiest things the WWF have ever done. It was still somewhat of a familly show at that point, and Jerry kept cursing out Paul on commentary, felt so off the cuff and unscripted. Loved it.
