Skull Candy headphones are FAR cooler looking, but they're not brand-name, they've yet to be shown off by the hipsters, so they're not $300 yet.
Going purely off look, Skull Candy are much better looking headphones, they come in more styles, they're headphones so there is no real quality difference between the two, even if there is, it's not $250 worth.
