I've seen a lot of people walking around with their music just playing out loud from their phone. They're the worst people alive. Every time I walk past someone doing it (a silly amount of times it's happened) I always get the urge to just launch into a tirade on them and then I realise there's about a million other things I'd rather do then talk to someone in that social class. Not everyone wants to listen to your music when you're walking in the street.

The idea that wearing headphones is rude is hysterical too. I guess if you're intending to walk somewhere with someone you know who you know is likely to engage in conversation with you then it's kinda rude. Otherwise what the fuck are you expected to do? Only have one headphone in case of the rare case where someone you know walks past you and wants to ask how your day is? Who the fuck does that? Stops and chats? Either smile or nod as you walk past and let me move on with my life and whatever I was doing.

Beats are a marketing masterpiece. Stick a pair on Kobe and run an advert with a load of hip celebs wearing them in different colours and then you can add an extra £200 to the price and get away with it. Amused by people developing a hatred towards people who wear Beats in public like they all have an alterior motive than wanting to listen to their music on the move and look cool doing it. Beats look cool. People like to look cool. Where's the issue?

Also, how did headphones suddenly gain a huge boost in popularity? Before, barely anyone wore them unless you were/you're an audiophile or a late '90s anime character. Now, everyone has them. Hell, even I'm getting some (though it's for a piano class that can be loud as fuck, plus a possible online language class).

Not saying that this is a bad thing, just a trend that I've seen that, for some reason, showed up out of fucking nowhere.

Does anyone feel the same way? Do you find it annoying when you see people walking around with huge ass headphones in public?

I'm not really angered by it, it's just getting annoying. It's not like I want to kill myself over it. Just something I had to get off my chest. But people on here took it too far. Lighten up people.
