There isn't a single gun cunt out there that can provide a good reason why assault weapons should be legal in the first place.

The term assault weapons is really just a buzzword now, just used for political gain, because dumbasses don't even know what one is. They think assault=automatic.

I have a friend with a shotgun that has a pistol grip, that can carry more than 5 rounds, that's an assault weapon under current definitions.

I was pointing out that the use of the term assault weapon was shitty in the first place. I thought it was a good enough response, and warranted a quote.

Regardless, there's no need to own anything that could be classified as an assault weapon. There really isn't.
