Never said it did. Was just responding to this asinine train of thought of history having no relevance to the future.
Again, .

Yeh you're right. The relevance is that you should move on and improve from that and not stay stuck in the past.

It's more than a fucking law, it's the second goddamn amendment in The Bill of RIGHTS, it was made the second right for a reason, the only thing more important to this country is the first amendment, freedom of speech.
You might as well just burn The Constitution by taking away our firearms, because after that point it's a meaningless document.

I can only assume you have a little penis, hence the need to have a gun to make you feel like a big man.

You are right, my apologies. The figure I quoted is indeed irrelvant to TehBrains comment since his was taking into account deaths only while mine was overall knife based crime.
However; this still does not make him right More relevant link, technically a PDF
Which states that homicide involving a knife of sharp object has dropped by 18%. The lowest since 1996.
So yeah; he's technically further from the truth than what I stated.

Indeed it does. Good you are getting the statistics straight now so maybe you two can have a debate about it.
But when you are four years removed from the highest number of knife homicides in 30 years since your government started keeping the tally and knife homicides rose 40% in the same decade, you really have nowhere to go but down.

Re: Obama plan: Ban assault weapons
Good idea. We had a ban on assault weapons but we let it expire like in 2005 was it?
A pistol and shotgun and rifle should be good enough to protect your family from intruders and hunt.

Re: Obama plan: Ban assault weapons
Realistically, what kind of shit are you getting yourself into that you need a fully automatic assault rifle to protect yourself? lol
