It doesn't matter if it's a male or a female. If they violate my property rights through force, I'm going to use force in self-defense. Criticizing someone for using self-defense against a *gasp* female, is extremely backwards.
Of course, continuing to attack her after you've pushed her away would transcend self-defense. But that's not what he claims to have done.
