I don't made anything up. Atheism stands for "without belief". Atheism is not about believing.
Oh dear, DS, oh deary, deary me. Atheism does not stand for without belief
, it stands for without belief in God
. It is a reactionary word, the opposite of theist
, which is a believer in God. The word ‘atheist’ wouldn’t exist if humankind hadn’t invented gods to believe in. It has nothing to do with other beliefs. I’ve said this many, many times and you all need to accept it because it’s fact.
Why should I even bother reading the rest of your post when you start it off like that?
I did read it though, and here are some highlights from the rest of your post:
That's why Atheists use science as arguments, because they rather have evidences instead of believing in something.
That is like me saying that Atheists don't believe anything and you say that I am wrong because you believe that Tupac is alive. Really?
It's not really, is it? You know, when you consider things with your brain instead of your arse.
Religious stuff is what the majority means with "not believing in anything"
Eh? You've lost me. I was following really close and then all of a sudden you were gone.
and I never claimed that there was nothing before the big bang but the question is what created this something before the big boom.
The question science hopes to actually answer instead of pretending it knows, which would be dishonest. Being religious, I assume you’re down with honesty?
This is what I don't get. The Atheists call most of what religious people say nonsense but they admit many times that they haven't found out the answers yet.
Not all the answers, but lots of them. Like the age of the earth. The amount of time humans have roughly been around on the earth. Things like that which directly contravene the Biblical accounts of creation.
AND THE WINNER OF THE MOST RIDICULOUS PART OF DUALSHOCK’S POST GOES TO…
We religious people have all the answers so how can Atheists claim that their arguments are better if they have not all answers.
You have all the answers? Okay then. What was God doing before he created the universe? He’s been there forever according to you, so what was he doing before he made us six thousand or so years ago? Forever is a long time just sitting around on your own surrounded by nothing.
I’d appreciate your thoughts on the above question, DS. I’ve asked it many times of Christians in real life, and the best answer I have received is that “it’s irrelevant”.
Remember, being religious means you attempt to hold the moral high ground, but you are claiming you know everything and me, the corrupted atheist, is the one holding his hands up and saying that I don’t know everything and that there is much to still figure out.
Honesty. Jesus had something to say about that, no?
