i left facebook because i saw my real life friends doing too much fuckery on there. i didn't want to stop being friends with them. i just didn't want to know about it. so i deleted mine.

One that annoyed the fuck out of me was some stupid picture of a destroyed hand with it cut into 100 pieces. It said "Like if you don't want your hand to end up like this" and a friend or two liked it then it showed up on my feed and it was disgusting. Seriously, what's the point of pressing the like button? It's not like it prevents whatever chance you had of having your hand end up like in that pic and it isn't magically going to save some poor guy/girl's life.

The more tolerable ones to me are those that go "Like if you have _______" because that is somewhat relatable. This is just plain stupid and starving for attention.

It's stupid but it's not that big of a deal. I just ignore that kind of stuff. Thankfully it doesn't seem like my friends like those sorts of pictures too often.
