Yeah, I deleted my facebook account a few months ago because of shit like this.

Liking something does absolutely diddly squat except make a few people feel like they are doing something (they aren't), or in some cases they are "like whores" which is even worse as they are using some personal tragedy as a means to get people to visit their stupid page.

Fucking cunts.

And people NEED to share immediatly. Facebook is crap, I only use it cause its the faster way to know whats going on with college exam dates and meetings.

I've managed without it just fine.

I can still chat to people on Skype, and people can still contact me on Email.

It's almost degenerated to myspace levels of spam now.

I hate it. It's pretty much a pathetic attempt at emotional blackmailing to get likes. And the person behind these posts themselves in truth don't care about the issues/people they are posting about to begin with. It's pretty disgusting. I tend to just ignore them or remove the pages.

Being estranged from people you have nothing in common with is extremely underrated.

Facebook works as a wonderful real life friend filter. Seeing some of the shit that people post on there is absolutely cringeworthy, you're (general you're) better off without people like that in your life.
