Re: Hell according to muslims and christians
There is not a God, nor a Devil. There is only conscious, and then unconscious constantly repeating itself over, and over for all of eternity. We are infinite beings with infinite paths in which we use our free will each time to make all the choices we need to be what we are, or become. The bright light everyone goes to during death is the hospital light of your birth in to the conscious existence of your infinite, and immortal life. This is not reincarnation because that would require one to know what happened in their previous life, and that would also require one to go back in time. Which makes no sense.
In essence there is no time, but merely the conscious awareness of it. People have Deja Vu for a reason, and it's the infinite conscious mind proving to you that you indeed have done things before even without having done them previous to the situation you experienced Deja Vu. Reincarnation suggests that you come back, but there is no coming back, and certainly if you are not aware of it. Religions sort of explain the meaning in very general ways. We are told that we live for eternity either in heaven, or in hell. Both of those ideas are personal.
A homeless man who has lost everything from his family, job, home, and just basic life in general may feel like he is in hell. All the decisions that this person made put him in this place, and he used his "free will" to make those decisions. Perhaps heavy drug use became the cancer of his being. We are told we will make many decisions, and those decisions will lead to temptation, or the good path. Religious folks say things like don't let the "devil" lead you in to temptation, and all that really is, is yourself, and your conscious mind. You know that little voice in your head? lol. You are just basically thinking to yourself. You can lead yourself into unpleasant situations the same way you can go, and become a Lawyer, or a Public School Teacher.
We are our own God, or Satan. What we think to ourselves is the greatest secret of all mankind, and the best part is that we can think to ourselves, and no one can know what we are really thinking. You are alive now, and when you die you will live again just to die again. This process never stops, and time doesn't exist. The most extraordinary part of it all is life, and it was not handed to us by some deity, nor can it be sold to some deity. It wasn't given to us by some God, or Gods. Life is a product of science that continues to expand infinitely amongst the void that is space.
