I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, and was given adderol, and ritalinat different points in my youth. Although I have some difficulty focusing on tasks now, I attribute my ability to deal with "ADHD" to the simple fact that my life has more structure and I dont lack discipline anymore.

As someone who has been diagnosed, I feel that too many doctors and parents are quick to attribute poor behavior to ADHD, and over-prescribe the medicines associated with "remedying" the "affliction".

Sounds to me like you are still "dealing with the symptoms of ADD" because you dont have structure, or lack the ability to properly manage your life. Stop blaming a made up disease and making excuses for why you're dumb-fuck-retarded at accomplishing tasks.

It's an overdiagnosed, over-medicated "disease"...simple as that.
