Why is that embarrassing? It's perfectly reasonable to give someone a second chance if there is communication and assurances made. Whap wasn't the first, won't be the last, and there are/have been other publicly known rejoiners so it's not a new thing.

I'm a hero because of one of them. Sort of.

All the authority of every admin or mod on every single forum that ever existed resides in the banhammer. The editing/deleting/moving/IP-checking powers are all secondary to the banhammer.

The slowness/crashing of the site has been addressed many times as well. It's because of Headliner and Seabs' overuse of smilies. The server just can't take it.
