I don't necessarily agree with everything in the OP but lots of it, yeah. Seems to me this isn't the first rant along these lines recently either, but whatever, I guess this is something folks feel needs to be said.
What happens in Rants is such minor, inconsequential stuff (well, actually that's pretty much everything that happens on WF...). Most of the regulars seem to be having fun so I can't say I care what goes on or whether there's any point to it. A little variety in rant styles would be nice but eventually people will get around to that, either because they've sufficiently honed their ranting skills or they've become bored silly with the current state of things.
