I used to like 'muppet' until every single cockney and football fan used it to death.

There's so many good UK comedians out there at the moment.

Check out Jon Richardson, Greg Davies, Dylan Moran, Ross Noble, Stephen K Amos, Jason Manford and if you like puns one after another Tim Vine.

Tim Vine is the king of puns. He's a definite Marmite guy though. I, however, love him.

Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Jon Richardson, Sean Lock, Ross Noble, Lee Mack and Russell Howard all rank highly for mine.

I still enjoy my old-timer insults such as "dolt" and "jackanape."

Ugh, Russell Howard, now there is a real bellend. Lee Mack is severely underrated though, he's hilarious.

nah, i like Howard. Also like Jack Whitehall. They're not nearly as good as the others though. Mack is brilliant, love his standup, love Would I Lie To You. Him and David Mitchell are excellent.
