English ain't my native language either (I'm Spanish). I do think a correction can do good sometimes to people like us, but if it's highlighted in a discussion you can just reply that english it's not your mothertongue, they will have no argument. I'm only 15 at the time, so I have the right to fail.

As long as I can understand what the person is saying then I don't care. it's worse when one person will ignore what you are saying and just point out the flaws in a persons grammar, to me it just says they have no counter argument.

OP, are you dyslexic? If you are, people need to know that so they can have more tolerance.

Edit: Actually re-reading my post made me instantly change my opinion. People don't need to know, just ignore when someone corrects you with a negative agenda towards you, but learn from that experience to enhance your writing skills!
