Daft fucking ref calls.

I just got shafted in the Liverpool/Everton game by a fucking retarded ref call.

SHAFTED

I couldn't even tell you how many times a ref has cost my teams victory. No matter the sport. Cricket. AFL. NRL. You name it.

It's even worse when it's an especially big occasion. Like this classic for example.

This was the 06' world cup. Italy were one man down. If it went to extra time, Australia probably would have won. This bullshit penalty happened and Italy went on to win the world cup. The ref who called the decision later admitted that he made a mistake but his decision still stands.

What do you think? Do you think they should have video ref in football?

Have you ever been shafted by refs/umpires with your favourite teams?

Post your horror stories here. Or don't. WHATEVAH.

Tom Henning Overbo, Chelsea v Barcelona 2009 Champions league Semi Final.

Never seen such a fine display of bullshit decisions.

Re: Daft fucking ref calls.

Suarez shouldn't have been on the pitch after his stamp on Distin's ankle. The goal was a goal though. The linesman seemed to call it onside until he saw Suarez wheel away in delight. Once he realised which utter fucking cunt had scored, up went DAT FLAG.

It always seems to level itself over time I've found.

A draw is still a good result for Liverpool.

Re: Daft fucking ref calls.

They were 2-0 up. They let Everton back in the game and while I agree a draw is better than a loss, they should have stole the three points today.

For somebody who watches wrestling I find it odd that you don't know what a stamp is.

Re: Daft fucking ref calls.

The most frustrating moments of bad ref calls for me are already posted. Chelsea/Barcelona (more down to my hate for Barcelona, though) and Australia/Italy (Germany were knocked out by Italy and that's my fav national team).

And yes, the mistake in the Liverpool/Everton is just plain bullshit. That was not an offside at all. I definitely think that refs should see a replay when they make such decisions.
