Also, this site has an asinine tendency to lag up anything I'm watching or listening to, on YouTube and Spotify respectively. The very act of scrolling through a thread makes audio stutter like a motherfucker, even if everything has already loaded beforehand.

Because it was overused to ridiculous levels in seemingly every post for a good week or so, and it wore thin and needed to be curbed before it just got terribly forced and unfunny. The fact that ever since the censoring of it and the re-enstatement more posters have stopped spamming it has made it tolerable enough.
