Why do most people in the WWE section take speculation so seriously?
 

This really annoys me actually, I don't care if I shouldn't let it get to me or whatever it just really fucking does.

Whenever I go into the WWE section I see these threads with a ridiculous amount of hits and replies and all it is (probably) bullshit dirtsheet speculation, I go into the thread and hardly anybody in there is actually questioning the source or the topic, they just take what is said as absolute gospel truth and then start chatting shit about what it might lead to when (usually) it never leads to anything and didn't even exist in the first place.

Then sometimes a thread will be posted where the OP seemingly states a fact in the title only to have no source at all, they just happen to be inferring something rather extreme from what they had seen on their television screens, usually of something they know nothing about. Then everybody in the thread just fucking accepts it! What the fuck? It really annoys me because the discussion thereafter is just pointless and invalid.

So yeah I needed to get that off my chest, discuss how annoying this is to you or how it doesn't bother you if you if you want, sorry to all the people who don't give a fuck about what goes on in the WWE section.

someone posted an article with no reference (might be the inspiration for this rant?) and I asked "where's the source" no reply. Dirt sheet rumours are barely credible at the best of times let alone no reference AT ALL. I could post up any old bullshit and get the crowd going.

I think I've seen it happen quite a few times but yeh that one annoyed me when I saw it.

Plus I think you should just post some absolutely ridiculous bullshit and see if people believe it, as an experiment.

Most of the so called dirtsheet rumours you refer to aren't even from actual dirtsheets. The major issue is that people don't know what sources are reputable and which are not.

The best thing is that more people are posting fake reports in their posts, fooling other gullible users. This needs to happen more often.

I read somewhere that Bret Hart is going to get one last run at the WHC cuz Vince said he's still got it and that HHH also wants to put Stone Cold and CM Punk in a tag team that will feud with Rocky & Golddust...yeah that's the ticket
