Almost 2 years ago now my sisters boyfriend at the time was arrested for being an internet pedophile. At the time he was 26, and the girl he was trying to meet up with only 13. However it turned out to be the police who had been watching his internet activity for months and they arrested him by a local mall. This isn't the part that bugs me, though it does make me just a bit angry. What really bugs me is it has been 2 years now and he still is waiting on trial for it so hes out there probably luring more children and it doesn't seem like he will end up doing any time for it. What kind of fucked up justice system lets such an open and shut case get dragged on for 2 years. They should just throw him in jail so he can drop the soap in the showers.

Trials take a long time. The Constitution gives you a right to reasonable bail and you're innocent until proven guilty. That's why you don't have to sit in jail waiting for a trial.

Yeah that's pretty fucked up how he wasn't thrown in jail. My older brother when he was 18 got arrested because he got a blow job from a 13 year old and they threw his ass in jail right away and they let him out on parole after spending 3 years in jail. Now he has to register as a sex offender everywhere he goes and he can't live anywhere near a school. I personally think they should make all sex offenders take the RFID chip so the goverment can track those fuckers where ever they go.
