Yeah, I like both bands but TBH they shouldn't really be compared. The only thing they have in common is they both feature Corey Taylor.

I caught Slipknot years ago when they came to the UK. It was a really good show, apart from all the proper young kids running about, with their parents at the sides and back wondering what the fuck was going on. I'm talking ten year olds. It was like a pantomime show. Good stuff though.
Still rate that first verse of Wait and Bleed. Fucking love that first verse.

I was in a relationship with a chick who was crazy obsessed with getting married at the age of 21 (literally, this bitch had a seating plan for our wedding like 2 weeks before I ended it). It wound up sucking the fucking life out of me, similar to your relationship, Walk-In. Those relationships fucking suck, and good for you getting out of it. If you're not happy, you need to get out, and good that you did.

If I had to listen to something, and my choices were Stone Sour and Slipknot, I'd...ask for new options. If the answer was NO bitch, it's one or the other!, I'd go with Slipknot. They're not the worst thing ever.
Oh, and on thread topic - Good for you. I said bye-bye to my loveable but certifiably nutters guy over the summer and it's been among the better choices I've made. I wasn't sure I'd done the right thing at first, but I'm quite liking being responsible for no one's joy but my own right now. And not having a crazy person in my home is rather nifty too.

Slipknot have to be one of the best bands I saw at sonisphere last year. My mate manage to get all the way to the front for them as well.
