Yeah, I got it from Corey. Everybody seems to want to suck on the dude, but his comps are generally good. Until the "OMG, buy this from COREY~" bullshit starts, at which point it's pointless.
But yeah, I'll try and get on the Vader match tomorrow. I'm just into 1992 chronologically with the Shawn set, but I saw you talk about the match a while ago, so I need to check it out.
His matches from RAW in 1995-1997 are pretty much always awesome. Anybody who says he's repetetive is fuckin' nuts.
Yeah, I posted Corey's website in the DVD thread a long time ago (I don't think anyone in there knew about it), and then people like BigCal started to bum the guy and people were pimping the website around - now it's apparently 'popular' to dislike the guy now.
How much did you pay for the HBK set? I assumed Corey only accepted PayPal so i've been unable to get anything of his, hoping some stuff comes up on iOffer though - they seem to have everything other than that comp on there :-(
Yeah, his site came up in discussion a while ago; now everybody is down for his stuff. I bought his Backlund comp about 3 years ago, but I had no idea he'd be pimped as much as he ended up being.
Not sure how many people dislike the guy, but he's always good for big comps like the Shawn, Savage and Hunter sets, and you're not likely to find a more comprehensive set for Shawn than his 52 disc set.
But I paid £50 for his Shawn set. Considering it's 52 discs deep, that's actually pretty good. I bought an Eddie set for the same price and that was "only" 36 discs. Still, a massive Eddie set is probably worth that (from a different supplier, of course).

Well, for the HBK set, everything is pretty much in the best quality available. Like, his matches that are already on WWE DVDs are in WWE DVD quality (Wrestlemania 8 against Tito Santana, for example), and those not - his matches on the MSG network against Virgil and Jimmy Snuka - are pretty much the best quality I've seen for shows that have barely been shown on TV otherwise. Basically, if it's been shown on WWE 24/7 then it's WWE quality. If not, then it's at least good quality. I can't complain so far anyway.
And I'm not entirely sure what payments he accepts. I sent him the money through paypal, but he may accept payment through another method. I'd ask him if I were you.
