I didn't say feminism didn't try and get women into the workforce i'm pointing out the fairly gaping flaw in your argument, which is that a push for women to vote is in fact a feminist movement and one that predates any attempt to try and get women entry into jobs that usually were restricted for men. Breast cancer is easily treated when diagnosed and treated early. As it is a very easy detected cancer, and one that can be done with no prior medical training, there has obviously been a lot of money thrown into promoting awareness of the disease, and how to self examine. The same applies for testicular cancer, there is lots of money being funded towards other cancers like prostate cancer, cervical cancer, skin cancer and to a lesser extent bowel & colorectal cancer as all of those can be detected either early by yourself (skin - melanoma's, breast - lump, testicular - lump, bowel & colorectal cancer - blood in stool) or by a doctor (prostate and cervical).

Now right now there is stuff about Ovarian cancer, and throughout the year there is stuff about other cancers and health conditions. Yes there is still a huge disparity in media attention but breast cancer is very common, and has occured in many prominant celebs which will raise awareness dramatically. If half a dozen celebs children suddenly got duchenne's then there would be far more attention thrown onto muscular dystrophies than there is now. Maybe because i am educated and work in this area i'm more informed but thats still no excuse for being ignorant like you are.
