This thread feels like a therapy. Jerry Lawler was one of the most hated people in WWE together with Cena and Hornswoggle. Now that he almost died people feel now guilty for saying some things to him. I can imagine how many people facepalmed when he was the option to vote to be Punk's opponent alongside Randy Orton and Brodus Clay "Oh God not this old fart again in the ring"!
As soon as I realized that this was not part of entertainment I knew that somebody would post in a forum "How do you people feel now after the Jerry Lawler heart attack?"
Yes, Mordar is a jerk but he is no different than other trolls who posted these things about Cena for 5 years. You OP are only upset because of what happened of Jerry Lawler, a guy who was bashed here for months and now you and other people feel bad.

I feel upset because someone nearly died. Any decent human would be. I still stand by the fact he has been poor recently and should not step in the ring at his age. But no way did I want to leave Wwe like this

Guess what, I still say that Lawler sucked as face commentator, and I don't feel guilty about that BECAUSE there is a huge difference between criticising a role somebody plays on tv or how he plays it and the real life PERSON.I'm actually sad for what has happened and I hope he dodges the bullet big time and comes back to full health, but if he returns as a wrestler or commentator, I will continue to say his on screen ROLE sucks/rocks depending on his >PERFORMANCE<

My point is not that someone is upset because someone nearly died. Everyone who is sane would be upset.
My point is that OP is upset at the posts of Mordar and wanted him to be banned because of the circumstances. Would Mordar post "die Cena" on sunday nobody would give a fuck. Maybe the mods would ban him because he wished death on someone but other members would not give a fuck.
In one month nobody would give a fuck if someone wishes death on Cena. We try to be better human beings only in the moment when something bad happens, one week later we are ignorant again.
People don't need Jerry Lawler to be upset, we have already enough examples with Benoit, Eddie, Owen or Pillman to be upset when someone wishes death to a wrestler. But hey, this deaths were years ago, it is allowed to make fun of it again until someone dies again.
We are upset at "Cena die" comments only when something terrible happens on monday, we are the biggest patriots only when our country is under attack, we are the perfect sons only when our father is sick, we enjoy the simple things in life only when we have health problems.
2-3 weeks later we are ignorant again.

Yeah, this. Criticising someone's performance or portrayal of a character or whatever isn't even remotely close to wishing death upon someone or some shit.
I think Bruiser Brody was a shitty wrestler. I'm not jumping for joy because he's dead.
I think Alfred Hayes was a really goofy commentator that bordered on shitty on a fairly regular basis. The fact he's dead does not fill me with joy.
So on and so forth.
FWIW I think Lawler is arguably the best wrestler of all-time. I've thought that for about 4 years. Monday night had nothing to do with that. I also think he's been a shitty babyface commentator for a good few years. I thought that long before Monday night, too.

yea, he's been brutal as a commentator for years, mainly cuz he's going the rasheed wallace route, out there for the check. whenever they put him in a storyline though, he still manages to get the job done, and look/sound convincing. the cole feud, and especially last week(or was it 2 weeks ago?) when he ripped on punk comes to mind.
