I'd say that hollywood have the Special effects action blockbuster/ Superhero genre down pat, but they don't make comedy movies like they used to IMO

I'm actually 20. But as I said before, I watched movies when I was 10. Tell me how much do you remember from the movies you watched when you were ten?

They are few & far between, but Rated R comedies are even fewer, but Wedding Crashers & The Hangover have to add Bridesmaids as well(really just the first one) were pretty good comedies, but for the ost part you are correct, with that being said I know they aren't strict comedies but Guy Ritchie's movies tend to have me laughing he mixes some great humor with his violence

All in all, movies are way worse now then they used to be. So many movies were made that it's hard not to make a cliche-filled movie.

Well that is a bit of a misnomer as there have always been crappy movies made, every year has it's share of good and bad, the reason it seems like that is simple the bad ones from years gone by are forgotten so tath only the really good ones are rememebered. It's the same with everything in life from movies to memories to wrestling

Yeah Rock n Rolla was an awesome movie. There are exceptions but all in all Hollywood don't appear to be too inventive for the most part. It's either superhero movies, movies based on books, if they do happen upon an original concept, they will squeeze every last penny out of it with sequel after sequel.

Rock n Rolla was great just made my wife watch it for the first time a couple weeks ago, and have to give up for Snatch as well, maybe Pitt's funniest role and Statham was great "Protection from what? Zee Germans?"
